Here is a lovely example of one of the most difficult Corgis to find. The strange-looking little buggy first appeared in 1963 as #240 in shades of blue with the canopy recycled from the Bermuda Taxi and then it gets issued again in December 1965 as #242 in yellow, without the canopy and now with a Corgi dog on the rear seat. With very low sales, it is withdrawn after a year and there really are not many around now. Those that do have to survive without the very vulnerable screen being damaged - or the equally vulnerable chrome on the detailed fittings running around the vehicle. The two barely-clad adults and dog are also prone to going missing so finding one that has all these in place and also has an original box is pretty spectacular.

This example is really excellent and all totally original. The paintwork is really good with only the slightest marks - one tiny, tiny nick on a front wing and another on a front over-rider. the wheels and suspension are excellent and the screen crisp and clean. the interior is lovely and fresh with gleaming chrome, including the steering wheel.

The original box is missing one end flap and has had one inner flap re-attached. It is otherwise clean and bright with just some wear along the edges and corners. It is firm and has good shape.

A rare opportunity to add a valuable item to your collection or investment portfolio.
