241 Ghia L6.4 in silver-blue
There are many colours for this popular model. Amongst them, however, there is a distinct silver-blue metallic shade that is less easy to track down.
Often it can be very difficult purely because of the poor photographs people take or the colour settings used and I have bought many that I thought were silver-blue that were clearly the much darker and more common turquoise-blue when they arrived! This example even looks less obviously silver-blue in my own photos than it actually is in the metal! But it is the less common colour and so often missing from collections.
This example has generally very good paintwork apart from the bonnet, which has several noticeable chips. The chrome is worn a little on the bumpers but is complete. The front screen has been damaged and, strangely, the dashboard is completely missing! That's quite a surprise and my guess is that this was a factory error as it would be difficult to remove without damaging the steering column or taking the car to bits. It is also missing one door insert but these are easy to find in the red colour for this interior.
The suspension is very good. So often on these models it has failed so there's a definite good point. The front wheels have some discoloration and need to be cleaned and I believe they should be fairly quickly returned to a shinier state.
